The villa is conceived around a large central courtyard, establishing an open and private heart for the home. Rather than treating the courtyard as leftover external space, the design positions it as the primary spatial organizer, bringing daylight, ventilation, landscape, and family interaction deep into the house.
Above this open void, a floating upper mass creates a strong architectural contrast between weight and openness. The elevated volume provides privacy and shade while allowing the ground floor to remain visually and spatially connected to the courtyard.
The composition is therefore defined by two complementary elements: a solid, grounded base that embraces the courtyard, and a light, floating volume that extends over it. This relationship creates a sequence of compression and release, balancing privacy with openness and giving the villa a clear and contemporary architectural identity.
