The Al-Qayrawan duplex in Riyadh represents a masterclass in navigating extreme architectural complexity. Where the unforgiving constraints of the Wadi Hanifah Urban Code—from rigid topographical limits to strict massing and setback requirements made this project seemingly impossible for other firms, our studio embraced the challenge. By strategically engineering the site's natural slope and transforming mandatory elements like the central Fina courtyard into the home's architectural heartbeat, we turned daunting regulatory roadblocks into a seamless modern triumph.
